Our enterprise is well-known in Russia and abroad as the largest Russian company involved in production and sales of optic-mechanical and optic-electronical devices.
We manufacture a wide range of products: microscopes, endoscopes, spotting scopes - telescopes and night vision devices and cameras. Our popular cameras ” LOMO-Compact ” are widely used all over the world.
LOMO production also includes spectral devices, eye-safe lasers, special equipment for army, aircraft, navy and space.
Founded in 1914, the enterprise became the first manufacturer of optics. On its launch the company made products only for the Russian army.
LOMO was privatizated in 1993. Now it is the enterprise with 100% private capital with more than 16.000 shareholders.
More than 6,5 thousand employees work for LOMO. The enterprise features about 150 kinds of products. Nearly half of the production volume is exported to USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, Israel and other countries.

01.01.01.06 Microscopes
Biological microscopes series MICMED-1 18.09.2008

Scope: hematology, urology, dermatology, biology, zoology.

Are intended for research of drugs in taking place light, a light field during educational employment, at laboratory works and in medical practice. Can be completed by polarizing filters.
For work in forwarding conditions microscopes in the road variant, supplied convenient are intended by cases.
Microscopes base on one support and differ with the complete set of accessories (subject little tables, visual nozzles, sets of objectives and eyepieces).
Microscopes can be completed by additional accessories. New patterns with the built - in gaffers have halide lamps 6 W - 10 and 20 W, that provides a modern level of researches. The consumer has a possibility of a choice of a microscope depending on specificity of work.

Microscopes for special purposes 18.09.2008

Apart from serial models, LOMO produces microscopes of special application aimed at solution of definite tasks.

The microscope - spectrophotometer MSFU-K was designed on the basis of a fluorescent microscope. It has a spectroscopic attachment to detect both reflectance and transmission spectrum of microobjects and spectrum of their fluorescence.

The forensic (criminalistic) comparascope MSK-3 represents two mechanically conjugate microscopes which enable simultaneous observation and comparision of microstructure of two objects .

LOMO is going to start the production of microscopes with image analyzers MSFU-K-AI and LUMAM-RPO-AI. These models are equipped with a special video camera that projects the specimen image to the computer for visualization and processing.

01.08.04 Endoscopes and accessories
Flexible thight medical endoscopes 18.09.2008

Optical fibre used in our endoscopes is made by the German firm “Schott”. The fibre transmits the image without “emptiness”.
LOMO PLC offers completely immersible devices for endoscopy examinations, taking biopsy under visual control for bacteriological, cytological and histological researches. The endoscopes are also applied during endosurgical operations with endoscopic and electrosurgical instrument and for introduction of medical solutions:
- Pediatric gastroscope GDB-VO-G-12;
- Gastroduodenoscope GDB-VO-G-10;
- Colonoscope KB-VO-G-10;
- Bronchoscope B-VO-3.

Any endoscope can be completed with the illuminator OG-VO-150-2 and a set of endoscopic instrument.
